S2KIlla

Our very own Jeremy Eib is the owner of this S2000. Unfortunately, this car has seen its fair share of unexpected tragedies. Jeremy drives the mountain roads a lot because of his commute to and from work. One day his car met a deer head on and no good came from that. The S2k had a lot of body damage but Jeremy didn't see this as a sign to give up. It gave him the idea to bring it back and better than it was before.

He fitted the S2K with a set of Enkei RPF1's in 17x9 +45 wrapped with 255/40 Hankook Ventus RS-3 tires. No stretch or good fitment was in mind for Jeremy, just pure performance. Buddy Club N+ spec coilovers were chooses to lower the car and add rigidity where the stock shocks could not. Stopping power is provided by Power Stop slotted rotors and Hawks HP brake pads. Also he is rockin a pair of C-west frp 10+mm front fenders.

Jeremy has some future plans in store for the S2K including full sway bars, strut bars, and stainless steel brake lines. Performance is always a priority when it comes to modifications in Jeremy's eyes. Make sure to check back for future updates of his S2K from track events to adding more goodies.

ABC (All Business Crew)

So the day pretty much started at 3pm when I decided I should get outside and enjoy this beautiful California weather. I headed down to my friend Alan's house and he was in the middle of lowering his Miata. I hung around there and about thirty minutes later our very own Garrett Gonzales showed up. We were talking about what to do and we decided to go pay Jeremy a visit at work, wash his car, and shoot it. We got there, hung around for a bit and learned that Jeremy was getting off work soon, so we just waited for him. After he got off work we watched him wash his car.

Alan, Garrett, Nick

Then Nick started riding his bike.

Jeremy's car all done being washed.

We decided to head over to an industrial area and take some photos.

Some of the crew.

And our cars.

The day ended with dinner at Pizzeria Tra Vigne and it was pretty tasty. Stay tuned for the full shoot of Jeremy's car.

Flush Stance

So in the recent years wheel fitment has become increasingly more popular. So popular that there are forums, blogs and even car shows/events dedicated to getting the perfect wheel fitment. For someone like me who really doesn't know (until recently) about wheels specs such as backspacing and offset. This can all be all kind of overwhelming. Well I came across this section while on the Flush Stance blog that pretty much explained it all. Check it out here. It's pretty awesome because they give you all the formulas to calculate everything out and its really easy even for someone like me who is pretty horrible at math. While you're there check out the Flush Stance blog and CCW wheels as well. Dan From CCW has a pretty sick Miata and most of the cars pictured on the blog have wheels specs along with tire and camber specs too.

Jose and his ej1

Much props for the owner of this nicely put together ej1. I have only known Jose for a short amount of time (maybe a year) and in that time his car has gone from stock to this. Just mods after mods started pouring in in that lengths time. Hard work and dedication has definitely made a statement here

WTEF!?! (what the ef)

This EF civic belongs to Nick. Definitely a head turner with some tastefull mods. If the zebra print or the chalk board hood does not catch your eye then maybe seeing this car screaming by you on the mountain might make u notice it. This car has come along long way for Nick. When he first picked it up it had not been running for over 8 years. A number of things needed to be replaced on it including the motor, gas tank and and almost every fuse in the car.

Not only did he have a lot to do to get it running on the road but he also invested his time in suspension work. His EF is running a set of koni reds mated with some ground control coilovers. Energy suspension master bushing kit makes sure everything is solid and a rear disc brake conversion with hawks brakes pads make sure the car can stop on a dime. Custom is also in Nicks book with home made canards, chalk board hood, shifter extension and zebra print to finish it all off. His stance looks intimidating with a set of TRmotorsport wheels that are 15x8 +20

All and all this car has definitely come a long way since when he first got it and in a short amount of time as well. He has much more in store for this EF so make sure to see future updates soon

And the group of friends I went with were putting down pretty good times as well:

All in all it was a good day. I'm sad I didn't get to drive, but hopefully I'll be out there ripping it up again soon.
